Workshop manual


You can get the genuine manual from yamaha's manual store for less money.

I asked by dealer he phoned up Yamaha UK they didn't have any in stock and they were over £80. My dealer decided he would put the model specific workshop manual on a CD for me for £10 after using taking my VIN, he also included the PDF version of the parts list which helps with cross referencing parts and assemblies. The payment went through the till so I guess this is something a dealers discretion.
 
Call me paranoid but there are copyright warnings all over the manual and as it only cost £10 legit from my dealer with a receipt as they are not easily available in the UK and the bike is still so new that to my mind it wouldn't be difficult for a pissed off dealership to find out who has been sharing it around if they become aware of it by looking at a few forums (after all where do we all search when we want information?) I'm not sure I want to be the first one to test out if Yamaha are ok with distribution of their copyrighted material by posting it online for download.

I feel very happy to have a service manual with the bike I have. It's the complete package to me.?

Have just arrived the service manual from e-bay. Excellent documentation.

I don't want to destroy other people business but this document must be shared. I suppose it is illegal to sell this document so no problem with the share.

I know a guy whose cousin's parents are siblings, who knows where to download the 2014 MT07 Parts Catalogue and Service Manual for free. Send me a PM and I might let you in on the link.

Oh noes! And I bought it from eBay :) Still worth every penny though.
For free is even better obviously, even if you don't plan on working on the bike anytime soon I'd still recommend getting the service manual.

Thanks Peter, I'd already bought the paper version from eBay, but the link you gave me for the electronic version is a great help. I can now search by keyword rather than leafing through the binder. Both are great but for different uses.
