Will a tracer engine fit a standard MT09?

Long story short I need a new engine for my standard MT09. There's a few tracer engines on eBay. Does anyone know for sure if they are exactly the same?

As far as I'm aware they both use the same engine

Should be, its mainly the mapping thats different, as far as i'm aware..

I asked a Yamaha dealer mechanic he said there's no reason it shouldn't but couldn't be sure.

What happened to your engine mate ?

Crashed it. Smashed the crankcase
