not a fan to be honest, the plastic just cheapens the look, I like the seat but that's it, its a bit to busy and looks like an after thought ...................................meanwhile at Yamaha HQ " hey guys did any of you ever go to the street market as kids and buy a cheap plastic motorbike toy that was made in china and broke within a day , awwww yes I did , ok lets make an mt 09 that looks like that, ok yeah the customers will love it."

Plastic fantastic, extra money that's not really needed. Cash that would have been better spent sorting the suspension.

I think that was just display purpose I asked when looking between the two dealer told me, same bike Sr just has a few more plastic bits on there
