Try this. I found this a while ago but it's french if any one can translate. I'm not going to play until I know for sure what it is all doing

If you have a Euro or an MT-09 you can change the CO

Access Co/Diag menu -
Hold down both select/reset buttons. Turn key so dash comes on. Keep holding till diag appears. Press select to show CO.
Hold down both buttons and 1 will appear.
If you press select it will run through 1 then 2 then 3 cylinder.
On each of these hold down both buttons till 0 appears.
Now you can change it up.
Once done on that cylinder press both buttons and repeat for all.

People perceive things in different ways depending on their experiences with other bikes etc, it don't matter, no biggie, a lot of people say the MT has a snatchy throttle, me personally A mode yeah a bit, B mode no not really, I don't look at as being a problem really, I will adapt to it. I adapt all the time anyway as I constantly switch between riding 5 different bikes.

One final word on the matter - If your an old fart like me who has had a carb SV650S for 15 years and have average reaction times so called standard mode throttle action is just too aggressive for rush hour in London. if I forget to switch to B mode when trying to jump drive into a small gap in traffic results in a mad gab on the front brake to avoid shunting the car in front.
In B mode there is just enough lag to allow for smooth progress, in my opinion this should be standard mode. That way you kids can have your fun by switching to A or B mode & I won't be spinning up the back wheel on gravel & grabbing big handfuls of front brake all the time in rush hour traffic, after all the MT-09 is marketed as an urban tool.
Got a mate with a Triumph street triple who is of a similar age to me & the only thing he does not like about it is the aggressive throttle action so the MT-09 with 3 drive modes gets his vote.

Tried my modded throttle over the weekend, result is much better. Although the initial movement from throttle off to throttle on is still abrupt, when it does initially come on its less of a jerk as at this point due to the cam you haven't opened the throttle as much as you would have using the standard throttle. Basically I found myself in A mode a lot more where usually I would have been in STD or B mode (through towns and traffic etc). Also out on the back roads throttle roll on mid corner was much more predictable.

That said it's still not what I would call 100% fixed, but at the end of the day I took a file to my throttle and filed a made up cam profile to it by hand so it was never going to be perfect, but it is heading in the right direction IMO. Will be very interested to try my G2 when it arrives as obviously that'll have a calculated machined cam profile so the result should be noticeably better again.

G2 Throttle Tamer arrived today, full review coming when it stops raining. For now though you can see how aggressive their cam is. Again it's a 20% smaller diameter for the 1st half of rotation then a ramp up to the original throttles diameter.

Ermmm it's just 4 now actually, I got rid of the cx500 because I got fed up with stuff needing doing on it.
