Sargent Seat

Hi!

Has anybody tried the new Sargent seat for the tracer?

MT-09 Tracer 2015-on Front and Rear Motorcycle Seats

I find the standard seat on the Tracer very uncomfortable, so now looking for a replacement. Apparently the factory "confort" option is more show than actual comfort.

I've done about 3.5K miles on mine now including a European tour a couple of weeks ago averaging 400 miles a day and either the seat breaks itself in or my arse has gotten used to it!

When I picked the bike up I thought it was like a plank but now, no problems

I agree with unfazed the seat breaks in,on my tracer test ride the seat was my only complaint but after 1100 mile its sound.

My arse has got used to the standard seat also.

Thanks for your answers. It seems the stock seat "improves" with use and there is no experience with the Sargent seat.

I have a Sargent seat on order, but it won't be here until next month, but I will review it when I get it.

I agree with the others, did 1200 miles in 4 days and the lowered seat, no problems at all.
