r&g tail tidy

Hey guys
Picked up my competition white mt07 today
First bike, passed my test in October
As soon as I got home I started to fit the tail tidy, everything went fine until I tried connecting the number plate illuminator back on
It comes with bullet connectors and won't connect with the original connection
Any ideas how to fix this?

I ordered some matching female bullet connectors from eBay, chopped off the OEM connectors from the wiring harness and soldered on the new connectors. Maybe not what everyone wants to do but this was my solution.
