I've had my MT09 now for 8 months an have found the standard seat ok has I only do short journeys but boy does it look naff, an think it really spoils the look of the MT,,,, I know some guy has just had 1 of the French top sellerie seats at the tune of £300 notes but it looks awesome and more comfortable.

Odd thing is I find the SR seat which I've been using for about 8,000 miles even now still feels hard when I first get on it, then after 10 minutes of riding it softens and settles down to a nice comfortable feel thereafter.
