I've never heard of any car or bike dealer only letting you have parts if you own that actual vehicle. As far as I've ever known, if you've got the part numbet and the money you can have what you want. If that was the case then surely there'd be money to be made by buying these models, breaking them and selling the parts on ebay for silly money.

Obviously in germany you cant buy sr parts if you do not own sr, also you can't buy condoms if you are girl, if you wear pants size 36 you cannot buy any other size like 38 unless you send your friend who wears 38, hell you cannot rent a movie if you do not show papers saying that you own TV.

aint no black sausage on my diet......not ever.
my bike is here friday whoooo, rang yamaha uk and all i wanted was part numbers for a spare set of panels and graphic kit, and after 5mins on phone they said no part numbers are made available at the moment and i could not purchase a graphics kit anyway ? Then spoke to a french yamaha dealer who gave me the numbers and also pointed out to me that the panels and graphics are a dealer fit and do not come already fitted, as i will do my own graphics this suited me fine, so rang my yamaha dealer and there not fitting the graphics to my bike. also spoke to my yamaha dealer and he says he can order anything with a part number.
