Whaaaaat? There is a demo with 200 odd miles on eBay for £4000. HAS to be a typo ??? (No link as I'm on my phone!)

Doubtfully.
There is no bid now or Buy now buttons.
Their website is spelled wrong in the listing anyway - however, it is not even listed.

Fake, IMHO. Low price only to be in top of search.

I'd swing it on the credit card to save +£2K...

But met likely, they aren't gonna honour the offered price... or say its exclusive VAT and a grand in delivery charges...

U seen the other item there selling brandnew mt07 £3000

Once u open them up shows finince options ect

This is his response

The total price is £4000 including the shipping to your address. Price reduced for quick sale, and i have decided to sell it for a lower price because i need the money.
Currently i am located in Northern part of United Kingdom, in a beautiful sea-side city called Thurso, because i just finished the divorce with my wife and i have moved here to my parents home. The payment will be made through eBay and only after you will receive the item, i will receive the payment.
It will take around 3-5 working days until you will receive the item and you will have a 3 days inspection period (so you have 3 days to change your mind and refuse or keep it). Also, I need to know if you have cash in hand because I have a lot buyers interested in the purchase and I don't have time to waste. No offense but if you really want to buy it I will stop communicating with the other interested buyers.
If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name and address so i can initiate the deal through eBay. You must know that eBay will contact you without any obligation to buy it or fees.
I will wait your answer (if you are interested to buy) very soon.

Regards

IT IS A SCAM.
I've seen almost identical wording before.
I think the way it works is they ask you for a deposit which you never see again.
If a deal seems too good to be true...... It is.
Report and avoid.

Total scam.

Always a sob story. Like the Nigerian Prince who will give you a large portion of his inheritance if you lend him some money first.

How many princes can there be?!?!

There are now two dealers with MT09's for £4000, Bransons and Lamba Motorcycles. The telephone numbers of the dealers quoted on ebay are similar but not the same numbers as those quoted on the dealers proper websites. If you check out their other items for sale link from the adverts they have similarly ridiculously cheap bikes, for example on e-bay Bransons have a CBR600RR-8 for £3000, it's £5,399 on their website, similarly Lamba have a nice Suzuki GSXR600 in Corona colours for £2,000 on ebay and on their real website it is £3,299. Looks like a pretty sophisticated scam.

Just google - Selling scam " i am located in Northern part of United Kingdom, in a beautiful sea-side city called Thurso"
- and you'll find loads of identical adds. It is a scam. End of.
