its 2 months old 900 miles abs and has akra and screen and Yamaha tail tidy, it looks like new never been in the rain , I might sell with standard pipe on and sell the akra separate.

Wonder how much I shud ask for on top of a 3 yr old striple with no rust then lol.

MT-09. Wheelie Wheelie Mental..!

its a shame that Yamaha have released a bike with such an iffy build to be honest , I want to get on a bike and ride it, not constantly check for perished rubber parts on coolant bottles and melted fans and to have to keep listening for odd noises in the engine, it makes riding it less fun.

I'd say £7k for a quick sale or perhaps £7,250 , with the Akra would be about right ?
sorru chaps but shops are selling them snd hand @£6100 at the mo and from my experience with bikes for sale no c**t wants to pay 'eff all privately as they all want them on the drip. i bought mine for 5K and the seller was getting 6 messages an hour from twats offering 4k max, his bids were up to £4250 and not going any higher.

........just get out there n cane it for an hour, that stops me feeling pissed off about the cheapness.
i do the same with birds over there, the real tidy ones are nice but you have to mind yer p's n q's whereas i get a much bigger grin teabaggin' the growlers......

Perished rubber part on coolant bottles and melted fans? I think a trip to the dealer and getting those issues fixed is more cost efficient than buying a new bike again. Sorry to hear you are having issues like that. Melted fan though? how does that even work?

You seriously going to sell fly ? Got to be honest , done 3500 on mine now , washed it about 4 times, no corrosion at all ,i am well pleased with the finish . Most bike mags say its a decent quality and pretty well screwed together , we all know where yamaha have price cut on the suspension, but hey ho .I was in Riders Bridgewater a while back, suffering from an unhealthy hankering for an XR 1200 harley , great looking bike, except for the rust around the silencer....new bike no miles !!!! lol.....

yeah mate very true I have no rust either, im just getting put off by the endless probs people seem to be having, maybe being on a forum isn't good sometimes as you think every issue is going to affect your bike to the point your riding with constant worry , think il just keep riding it now and cheer the fuck up and if it does start rusting then down to the dealers to get sorted, to be honest ive had a shit year my old man died just before I picked the bike up and it sort of took the sparkle off the purchase, and I think I have a bit of delayed grief as I sort of kept strong for others at the time.

Sorry for your loss man... that would take the sparkle off just about anything . 9 years for my old man now....tempus fugit....

yeah cheers mate, ive been a bit down which is not my normal mind set to be honest, Its only 2 months ago but seems like a blur now quite weird and a lot of realisations , even my girlfriend said recently that im getting apathetic and not interested in anything at all, I just think I put everything to the back of my mind in march and now its coming out I suppose.

sorry to hear your lost yer old chap fly, mine popped off a few years ago. he left me right in it n all, after he kept on saying he'd took care of stuff.he hadnt. :(
