I'm trying to fit a rad guard to my 2016 mt09 and I'm struggling to work out how to remove the fixing to the bottom bracket

The guard I bought has 3 fix points and one is to the bottom bracket

It's not a bolt, but looks like a rubber grommet with plastic on the other side.

I've attached pictures in the hope that someone might be able to advise🤞

it might just push out? I fitted one on mine but it's 2017 so might not be the same. just had a look at mine, didn't take it out as the bottom is just a cable tie round the bracket, the top two are bolted on.

I did think it might push out but if it does, it's not moving!
The rad guard I have, has a bracket that looks like it needs to bolt onto the bottom bracket.
I'll take a pic of the rad guard tomorrow and show you what I mean.

Looks like it's simply a rod that you slide the radiator off.

Release the top brackets and then you pull the top of the radiator forward to clear the brackets, then slide the whole radiator to the right, so it slides off that rod.

You were right! The bottom is a rod and removal was exactly as you said it would be. Many thanks for the guidance
