Guess who has "Rattle" on the bike??

Check and see if ur "pass" switch works as the LED's interfered with mine to start with and it wudnt work but the hi-low beam did. Very weird but all sorted now..!

I did read the thread posted asking if anybody was having problems with the pass switch so I tested mine while out today and it's fine luckily.

Also may have an order going in for an Akrapovic in the next few days so watch this space. Just not sure what the wait time's going to be on the zorst.

I'm selling mine in the next few weeks...

Which Akrapovič are you eyeing? The original one or the new one with the loop?

Not the new one as I heard a rumour that loops are gay.

Seriously, I'm after the genuine Yamaha / Akrapovic developed expensive one, preferably the 2nd gen 2 piece one if memory serves me correctly.

My stupid cam chain started rattling this morning, i have only done 300 miles, heard it until the engine was warmed up then it kind of went away, I have had a suspicion it's been making a little noise for the last few weeks, pretty tempted to unbolt it and see what it is thats crap about it, it's either sticking and not adjusting or it's adjusting but not holding the new position, anyway calling the dealer tomorrow.

I think my rattle was there at around 3k - 3.5k revs for a while but was getting worse and now is constant. Hope Yam are pulling their fingers out with the supply of new tensioners.

I guess I can now steal your headline - "Guess who has the rattle now?" because it's back now on mine after having been adjusted two weeks ago to the date. Luckily I'm getting my tensioner changed next Saturday but it's a bit funny that resetting my current one back only lasted for about 150-200 miles :D

Took mine in yesterday and all the did was adjust
it and change the oil again. When I asked if
Yamaha as problem they replied no ! That
old chestnut

I suggest you keep an eye on yours and have it changed to the updated part when it starts rattling again. I'm pretty sure it'll happen.

Yamaha have indeed released a new revised part so don't take any bollocking from the dealers. I already have mine delivered to the shop so it does exist, like Ali G said :)
