Drive chain puller deforming

I remember performing berks bending the chain adjusters on a ducati . Been reading a bit on various sites, lots of people moaning about new bikes , BMWs , Triumph , KTM to Harley owners...back in the good old 70s ,you would be lucky if your piece of shite brit iron made it to its first service .;)

that's true actually all the old bikes would rust really badly especially the chrome, and I bought a fresco expansion pipe once and it was rusty within a week lol.

I too had a Fresco on my TS100. Reminds me of going to Enville Common on a Sunday

Wish i could post pics ,stupid kodak printer will not scan .Got pic of me on my TS 100 about 6ft in the air , the landing was the reason i needed a new pipe !

Tried mate , got nokia windows phone, but need to download zune , wont download for some reason , maybe my errr... dodgy windows 8 NOT a copy :o

Take a pic on ur phone.. Save it in ur picture library then come on the forum (using tapatalk)! on said phone and click on the little square with a circle and a mountain range in it. Choose the pic u want and it will do the rest. In theory of course haha.

Tap a what.... talking to me now mate lol

Update: yamaha have got back to me and are going to replace the drive chain puller. Let's hope I had a duff one otherwise I will be getting a new one fitted every time I adjust my chain

Got the new drive chain puller fitted yesterday. I have yet to adjust my chain but I can see the same thing happening again as there is the same gap between the axle head and the chain puller, allowing the axle to rotate slightly when you tighten/loosen the axle nut.

Also got them to take some photos of the rust around the rear shock while I was there. They said they would send them off to Yamaha but he doubted they would do anything as the warranty doesn’t cover any corrosion. They would only replace it as a good will gesture

Has anyone had any luck getting rusty parts replaced under warranty?

Would I be correct in thinking you have to insert a pin in one of those tiny holes in order to make any adjustment, Or am I just missing something?

I have the same on my bike and I havnt even touched it yet.
Its just slightly bent on one side tho not as much as OPs
