Does anyone know if the Akrapovic system is still street legal in the UK with the db killer removed ?

i wouldnt worry about the exhaust being street legal, as when you ride the mt09 your riding wont be.
The mk1 titanium has no cat in it...
the one on the Akrapovic website does.
it would be useful to know which system the OP is referring to.
The mk1 has 3 sections...
The mk2 has 2 sections...
The mk2 has 2 sections...
I believe the CAT is an optional extra and doesn't come as standard with the exhaust.

I believe you are correct. The EC Certification on the Akrapovic website states it is only homologated with the Cat fitted.
Of course, no plod or mot tester will ever know as the exhaust is stamped which is what they would look for, if anything.

Same for arrow system, mine was fitted from new and dealer said it be like £130 extra for CAT that slots in between silencer and headers, I was like well if not legal requirement we will forget that!!
