Transform bike handling for £36 - yes really

Posting this message to share the deal of the century I received at Steve Jordan motorcycles in Leatherhead. Hopefully other MT09 riders can benefit. Mine is the Tracer and it just felt too 'hard' out of the box (oo er vicar)... Steve Jordan's place is well known in the south for excellent race...

    2017 mt_09

Asked my dealer when he will get the 2017 MT-09 in stock, he said maybe the end of this month or early January so my name is down for a demo ride and if it is better than my 2015 MT-09 I could be tempted to upgrade, the only problem is I don't like the colours that the uk is going to get.

    Little Long Way Round

Just idling away a bit of time and thinking what next summer might bring. I've done the four compass points of the island and also the five KRC Challenge Venues and was running out of ideas where to ride too in Ireland. I'm contemplating my own Little Long Way Round. It's not actually as far as...

    I just bought a brand new 2016 mt-07!!!

:D I put a deposit yesterday on a MT-07 2016 Matte Silver. I'm picking her up on Tuesday. I traded in my 2007 Kawasaki ER6F. It took me many months to decide to keep the ER6F or go for the MT-07? The ER6F was a great bike, the best I've ever had! But it's almost 10 years old now. I've never...

    Group rides could be band.

Harlow have already done this others are likely to follow if they make it stick, even going out for a ride with a mate is covered. Harlow Council's injunction bans groups of two or more from taking part in ride outs from 10am to midnight on any public land or highway in the town, I did check...

Ello Have found myself to be the proud owner of a new MT09 Street Rally after 10yrs on a z750 and I'm rather excited! I was visiting a patient at home, saw this awesome bike in his neighbour's garden, discovered my bike dealer had one in stock, test ride a week later, purchased the day after...

    MT 70 Comparison MPG?

Hi All, I am currently riding a Honda CB 500X – had it over two years and it’s been a brilliant bike. I use it for commuting so was looking for something that had good fuel economy and was easy to handle and maneuverer in town traffic. The X ticks all those boxes plus it’s as comfortable as...

    Loose Screen Adjusters

After enjoying a couple of great rides on my Tracer over the weekend, I've noticed that the screen height adjuster knobs are working loose. Anyone else had this problem? I re-tighten them, go for a ride only to find they have slackened off again.

Had a test ride and now I've ordered one

Hello all, first post. I decided a couple of months ago that I wanted a new bike and that I would trade in my XVS950. Had a look a the MT-07, joined the forum, read the posts and decided a test ride was needed. So off I went to Raceways in Fleetwood and organised a test ride, took the bike...

    Hello

Hi all My name is Steve and I have to come clean and admit that I have been riding BMWs on the road for the last ten years. Now that I've got that out the way, I can say that after a recent test ride on a Tracer I was hooked. I already have two BMW GSs, an 1150 & a 1200, and had considered...

    A Seat Mod

I have been very happy with the general design of the seat - shape, size and orientation, but it does seem to lack some foam. I have made an additional padding unit of neoprene foam and neoprene sheet as an experiment. I have mainly given extra support to the 'sit' bones. It seems to work static...
