    1st Chain Re-Lube Today

I had it done on its 600 mile service, and i have now hit 1500 miles or just under, chain was starting to look a tad mucky so went for it. Quite high mileage without a re-lube but to be fair the bike i sonly ridden in the dry so was well lubed and didn't really need it before. Have to say its...

Chain marked swingarm at 390 miles!

Quick word of warning to those with new bikes especially. Checked my chain tension at 390 miles for first time this morning (I know, I should use it more, and clearly should have checked it more especially), despite correct running in procedure ie not revving the nuts off it or pulling wheelies...

    Driving chain

I found that the method for checking the tension of the chain is different which stated on workshop manual and owner manual, which one should I follow? Workshop manual said the rear wheel should be elevated; however, owner manual said the bike just stand by the side-stand. p. s. Sorry for my...

Got back from a run to the coast today and noticed that I'd managed to lose my right hand chain adjuster along the way. Keep those lock nuts checked and tight people.

    Security related question

Hi there, Was wondering which security solutions you guys have for your MT-07. As for me - two must-have items are: disk lock + chain lock. I'm about to switch from maxi-scooter (with plenty of storage compartments) to naked bike (with almost none). The question is - how to carry/mount chain...

Rear Wheel Bolt - Bad setup

I had adjusted my chain about a week ago and yesterday I heard a clicking noise as I moved the bike in the garage, I thought maybe I'd overtightened the chain or misaligned the wheel. So put the bike on side stand and checked, chain slack was 52mm, a bit tight maybe so thought I'd slacken it a...

    Dealerships - Not Acknowledging Faults

Hi, Is it just me whose Dealership refuses to acknowledge the Cam Chain Tensioner rattle being a widespread problem? When it first went in for the fault (around 900 miles on clock), they tightened it, then eventually replaced it under warranty for free, but said that I was the only one who...
