lol I thought it would just be in the higher rev range that it was noticeably louder.
i cant find the bit i lopped off now............im a bit.....ummmmmm, *baffled* as to where i left it.
.....i thought it was in a trainer in my luggage but nowt there....
Cool, I'm still in two minds about whether to chop mine or not. It's too loud with it out but don't have a spare so once its cut its ruined. I suppose it could always be welded back on but unless it's lined up exactly right I'll have fitment issues again.

Why its allmost as if Mr Akra didnt want anyone dicking about with his baffle !
I have the baffle in on mine but when riding it it sounds loud is it just me then lol

I can recommend a piece of sawn off broom handle to tap it out from the back. Not sure if its actually got quieter now its all coked up a bit or I've just gotten used to it but after a handful of rides the bass is no problem for me now.Ok so i've had the ballache of refitting the baffle, now the bugger is jammed in so I can't get him out! Taken the box off and going into the workshop tomorrow to push it out from the other side. Big question is to CHOP or NOT TO CHOP? Same problem as you guys it's the thumping low down on the rev range that's getting me. Does chopping it just take the edge off but keep it loud?
Do we still get plenty of flame and popping?

In is easy, it's getting it out thats the issue.Just put mine back in, lining up the screw hole without being able to see it is a bitch. (i used my girlfriends little pocket mirror) it seems super tight and i reckon getting it out will be more of a nightmare. I tapped mine in with some wood and a mallet. No damage, no drama. Just fiddly with that screw...
Agreed, although I'm going to block my AIS so will get reduced backfire but it should run better.Take it out and man up. I got mine out and it sounds like the devil singing, that's not even the best bit. The best bit is the gargle, burble and back fire on the off throttle. Love it!!

Hahaha i love it out...but i want to do track day and i think it'll be too loud, dare i say it or is it in my head, but it 'seems' to be smoother with the baffle in?
