Just looked on ebay - I had a dozen or so real ones that I picked up some years ago as a souvenir after they were discarded by a US B52 bomber crew. I threw them out about a month ago when I cleared out a cupboard. I should have flogged them.

I have same problem and I think it is sub conscious effort used to control the throttle, I have ordered some 'grip puppies' to see if they make any difference.

Agree that 7k is a bit optimistic - I recently bought mine for 6495 from a dealer, 4 months old, 1800 miles, ABS, Acra exhaust and load of other extras. Definitely good idea to sell bike stock and extras separately.

I telephoned dealer at Bournemouth today - service dept told me that they had only done one re-map so far and had no feedback yet. They also said that their demo bike had been re -mapped and they recommended having a test ride before making a decision, they also emphasised the 'once only' aspect...

I had a puncture in my Dunlops last week and used it as an opportunity to upgrade to Pilot road 4s - what a difference, fantastic tyres, more of an improvement than I thought possible.

A lot more difficult than it used to be (not a bad thing). Also the recent age restrictions, full licence not until age 24 (unless A2 licence held for 2 years, in which case 21) - all of this leads to people saying "not worth the hassle" and getting car licence and car.instead. A mate of mine...

It's a bit worrying really, how few 'young' motorcyclists there are generally. Probably due to how difficult and expensive it is to get a licence. Sometimes when I go to bike meets or bike dealers at the weekend, it resembles a geriatric care home day out - which of course makes me feel at home.:o

I don't think any of the colours will be too fast with me riding them - not used to fast bikes, new learning curve for me. Even in B mode the bike will be thinking " for f,,,,,k's sake hurry up".
