Is that figure at the crank or wheel?
I'm surprised uv got 69bhp. We've managed 72-73 at the rear after a few goes at mapping it? Are you going to get it done anymore?
I rode a 50 for 6 months back in the day..
I bought a gixxer 750 and booked my das. The day I passed I rode to the dealers and picked up my new bike. I loved my 50 though lol. We de-restricted it, put bigger jets in the carbs and lightened rollers. It did 65 lol. Every time I got on it I thought...
I usually copper slip mine and give them a gentle tap to make sure they're seated correctly. The headers will push them home when you tighten up the nuts on the studs.
It's not going to gain masses of hp because it's not that kind of engine but there should be more torque, smoother fuelling. Higher rev limiter. Lower fan temperatures and s few more bits.
Nooo... We don't send maps I'm afraid. We only use the power commander to map the bike so it's 100% perfect. Once that's done and the map is flashed to the ecu we get rid of the PCV because it's not needed anymore
Yes exactly the same for the insurance company. How are they going to look at a bike and say "yep, that's been flashed"! Lol. That's what makes it so good
The titanium is completely different. We've done the baffle mod on our 09 test bike and it still pulls like a train.
It performs best with no baffle but many people don't like the noise so either cut the baffle down or get better ear plugs lol.
MT07 R&D Bike
So here's a few videos from this afternoon in the Dyno. We raised the rev limiter a tad and this is the result. Obviously this is with the ram air turn off but you get the idea. Don't forget to turn up the volume
