    The MT-07 Picture Game

Well I think that perhaps the next person should ask for a picture of someone flogging a dead horse ;-) Sad, but I don't think there's enough interest to keep this one going.

MT-07 Exhaust Sound & Essential Mods

Do ANY of these manufacturers produce dyno figures to compare their systems to the original? The article someone published on here somewhere about the length of the system being critical has me worried about any of the after market systems that do not have the "Z" bend in the downpipes...

    New MT 07 launched

Well I'd have preferred it with a suspension upgrade rather than different coloured bits of plastic. There are a few areas with room for improvement on the MT and I'd suggest Yamaha should pay more attention to them if they don't want to loose sales. I don't think the price hike has helped...

MT-07 Exhaust Sound & Essential Mods

I have, and still do, own a lot of Brit bikes but... Not sure I'd have owned up to an LE though;)

    Insurance for new rider?

Interesting things those comparison sites. They tend to ask you a particular set of questions, including all the normal ones about age, place you keep the vehicle, no claims etc but they don't all ask the same questions. For that matter the various companies that they represent often want or...

    Insurance for new rider?

Might be worth checking out E-Bike? eBike Insurance - Welcome to eBike Insurance Not a personal recommendation but I've heard they can be cheaper. All insurance is a rip off so I'd advise checking through everything and anything in the small print before parting with your hard earned. Caveat...

Why an MT-07... 3 reasons please..!

I suppose there's an argument to be made for starting with something as light as possible if you're considering adding weight (luggage) to it but personally I'd be more than a little concerned with adding weight over the back end of a bike that so freely picks up the front wheel, even without...

Why an MT-07... 3 reasons please..!

I test drove both the Er6 and the MT07 and preferred the MT. Not by a great deal but certainly enough to make me want the Yamaha. Lighter, nimble and more powerful. The Yamaha is also a "new" bike unlike the Kawasaki which is an "old" design. The Yamaha, with an after market pipe, makes a...

    The MT-07 Picture Game

That's not me with the Sam Brown but my mate Graham with the Bonnie. So... Next... Your bike parked in amongst at least three Harley Davidson's. (the more the merrier but NOT outside a bike shop). Bonus points if the Harley riders are also in the shot. Extra bonus points if the Harley...

    The MT-07 Picture Game

Well, as you can imagine, living on the south coast as I do, we still have hundreds of the bleedin' things all over the place. Though, they tend to be in places you can't legally get a bike to... Hmm....

    The MT-07 Picture Game

Okay so we seem to have got a bit stuck here so... To add a bit of a twist... Below is a picture that, in a way, fulfils the requirements but not exactly as requested. The idea here is for the first person to solve the riddle to get to post the next request.

MT-07 Exhaust Sound & Essential Mods

Some interesting thoughts on exhaust systems going on in another thread.http://www.motorcycle-talk.net/forum/mt-07-fz-07-modifications/642-arrow-shortie-exhaust-concerns-discussion.html In this it is mentioned the importance of the length of the pipes and appears to imply the "twist" in the...

How To... Fit Arrow Exhaust (shortie Style)

Just adding some video to this thread of the pipe, with and without DB killer, to show the difference. Of course the video doesn't really do the sound justice but you should be able to pick up on the deeper tone without the DB Killer. Video was deliberately taken amongst ordinary traffic to give...

Arrow "shortie" exhaust concerns and discussion.

Yes, shouldn't be too difficult to add the middle bit and see if it makes a difference. I'm well used to it without the centre section so should be able to tell any difference. Don't know about anyone else but my Arrow system has the "twist" in the headers much the same as the original. Also it...
