I am enjoying riding the MT so much I have decided to use it (instead of my FZ1 Fazer) for my yearly 4 day tour round Wales in a couple of weeks, Luggage was the obvious issue, with the Ventura option being limited to 5 kilo. Anyway I bit the bullet and got the Yamaha saddlebags (panniers) and using the Givi tank bag from the FZ1, Fitted an MRA adjustable screen, and whist it does not looks the best does a great job of keep the wind noise down. Oh and I finally found out why the instruments are of the one side (it is so they don't get blocked by the sat-nav) Anyway this it how it looks right now.

nice 1 trevor, looks like it will do touring just fine with that set-up. ive just stuck my phone holder in that gap too, just right for a holder:)

Your conifers need a trim and the lawn could do with a weed and feed. :p

The bike looks fab, enjoy the tour.

Have you mounted your TomTom with one of these ?

Have anyone found a pic of how the original GPS mount is supposed to be fitted?

look at you all turning your bikes into goldwings lol.

Not at all mate.
They come off when I feel like a hoon that's the joy if soft luggage.

This bike does it all. Unfortunately I can't afford a Beemer to travel with and keep the Yam so best of both worlds
And just coz there's bags on there it still goes like like fcuk when I feel like it...

if I wanted a bisexual bike I think I would go for in no particular order , a z1000sx,a fz1000 ,a ktm 990smt or a vfr 1200, or as an oldie but goodie maybe a late blackbird, oh yeah I forgot maybe a ducati hyperstrada.
